I'm BAAACK!!!

Ok so I arrived at my house Monday, June 2nd at 2:15 am. Here is the story.
Well I woke up on Sat., May 31st at around 8:30 I moved all of my belongings to my new house. Then I let my friends come over and scourge through my frig. Then I went shopping for cleaning supplies for the new place, so my house help will have it ready for me (well actually for the new roommates cause they will be there before me).
Then I went and ate lunch at Mel and Kerry's (I was helping them empty their frig.!) Well, Kerry was going to be having a massage person come to the house and give her well a massage. So I joined in on the fun. NOOO not at the same time. But it was nice and relaxing. I went home and showered one last time for the long journey.
My friends picked me up, we went and dropped off one last bag to the new house and then headed to Java for dinner.
They drove me to the airport (THANKS JESSIE and DALINA and CHRIS).
I left Nairobi that evening at 11:45. No problems. Didn't really sleep. NEVER DO! I arrived in London went through security nicely and then ate a nice breakfast. I walked around a bit and then headed for the gate when they called us. They don't let you in the gate area until right before it is time to leave. Well, then I went through that security and the a** guy sent me to the search line and so they searched me and my bags and I yes I had an attitude. What the hell is the purpose of RANDOM searches. THat just means that you may pick me if I have something deadly or I will probably get lucky and get through!! I am all about people doing their freakin' jobs, but this RANDOM thing doesn't sit with me well. What if you RANDOMLY let me go through and I had something. I was so agitated!!! Ok so I went through after being not so friendly to the lady and the guy who sent me through tried to talk to me and be my "friend" I wasn't so friendly.
Ok I made it to Chicago just fine and then I made it to St. Louis just fine also. This is where the main problem occurred.
I was ready for my flight and first our flight was slightly delayed due to mechanical issues. About 40 min after we should have left, they called us to get on the plane for the short trip home. I was only about a 45min. flight away. WOOHOO!! Well, not so woohoo. After about half of us boarded they deboarded us because supposively we were going to have to wait 45 min to leave so instead of sitting on the runway they were going to let us sit in the airport. I thought, "wow one of the first good decisions ever" Well around 6:45 (an hour after we should have landed in Memphis- I should be home by now) they boarded us again and then as soon as I sat down literally, they deboarded us again. There were some UNHAPPY people. As soon as we got back into the airport, they announced they were cancelling the flight. We happened to be directly across from the little red phones that dial directly to American Airlines service people. We all dashed over. I was second in line at my phone. The lady on the other end of the phone was not willing to try and find another airline. So I was already somehow booked for the next flight out- MONDAY, at 4:45. What the crap was I going to do in St. louis for a whole day with 2 suitcases and stuff.
So I decide I am going to cash my ticket in and rent a car and drive. Keep in mind I have not slept at all since Friday night/Sat. morning. Ok so I am standing at the AA ticket counter and get paged to the info desk. It is my mom. She is at the airport in Memphis ready to pick me and had just found at my flight was canceled. I have no cell phone so this was basically her only chance to get ahold of me.
There was a flight leaving in 40 min for Nashville, they would pick me up there. So I go change my flight and realize, my bags are in the luggage claim area cause they deboarded all of the luggage too. So I run while chick is logging me into the computer and go get my bags. I am running with 2 large suitcases a backpack and purse through the baggage claim area lots of looks and go illegally the back to skip the screening process ( I HAD NO TIME PEOPLE) and so I made it I got to my gate after stopping and asking this place for change for a dollar to tell my mom I was officially on the flight, but she just gave me her cell phone. How assume was she. I arrived and was the last one to board. Always embarressing.
After getting safely to Nashville, I had to wait over 2hrs for my parentals to pick me up. Then we drove home and arrived at 2:15 am. I was so sticken tired. I hadn't been that tired in a very long time.
So long story short. Yes, I am here (in Memphis). I will be in Texarkana next Wed. and Thurs. some and then in LR/Conway next Thurs. -Sat. However, I will be back to both places.

Hey Kristen P. you wanna host an uppercaseliving show? All the cool people are doing it. :) By the way the poptarts are finished. I saved some rice crispy treats. They won't go bad in 2 months will they?
