Update

After a night of basically NO sleep, I left for school early to do a credit check at school. I needed to do it at school so that I could print it out and I needed to speak to Don he is kinda under the super. I get to school and low and behold I can't check my credit report unless I in the US or a US territory. Kenya clearly doesn't fit that description. Now I am frustrated AGAIN. Finally, at 8am I decided to go talk to Don, who of course wasn't here yet. So I went to our super. and told him everything. He was just mind boggled and couldn't believe this had happened.
After looking at all the evidence cards being used, but I have possession of them, money in my drawer being missing (over $200), and last year missing money. It all happened on Mon., Wed., and Fri. The days she works.
Ok so Don and Gary come to my classroom just before class started and we discussed the facts again and looked over some of the bank statements. We decided to have Florence meet us at Don's office after school.
She shows up and my roommates and Don and I interrogate her. Christa is a great detective and interrogator. She is a great teacher to, but could possible have a fall back job if she needed it.
Ok so the story goes- Florence had her daughter, without our permission, come and clean our house each day last week while she went to the hospital. Now why she had to go on Mon., Wed., and Fri. and gone all day when the hospital isn't very far from here just didn't make sense.
Ok so Josephine the daughter is supposively at our house all day cleaning.
Now, I was already ticked because last week my lamp was broken, my sheets weren't changed when I asked her to do it and my windows weren't cleaned. We NEVER give a full days work, but oh well. She also never asked for her paycheck Friday which she always asked Jess and I last year.
Anyway back to the meeting. We questioned her. She denied knowing anything and said her daughter was out of town! We didn't get very far with her, but we dismissed her on the spot without pay. She showed no emotion of any kind. I was so hurt. I had originally said I wouldn't press charges but at this point I am so mad and just thinking I really don't care what happens to her.
That evening we talked to our guard and he said that the daughter only came once last week. HMMM!! Go figure!
Ok so now it is Tuesday. We tell Don what the guard has said and that we think we should check the records at the hospital. Don agreed and our Nurse who knew what was happening because she translated the meeting. So not sure what she found out, but late that afternoon I got word from Jose (he uses Florence on the days I don't), he had been told Tues. morning what had happened, so they have another meeting with Florence Tues. afternoon and she was told that as of Fri. she was dismissed from Jose and that by Sat. she must be off the campus and was never allowed to return to any Rosslyn campus or rented facilities again. She has until Fri. to pay me back the money or they were going to the police.
The prediction is that she will run before then, but at least an ultimatum has been given. She still hasn't heard from her daughter she says.
Apparently, in this meeting she was very emotional. I am not sure if she knew how serious we were yesterday. I would be so greatful to get any money back but I am not counting on. However, you could pray for that. :) This has been insane. Well, I don't think this is going to be as stressful for me with paperwork because my parents, my amazing parents have been doing much of the brunt work for me.
