All though I think America is going to well ________ in a hurry, Kenya is rejoicing. You would think it was their president. There were celebrations all over and the buzz was of happiness and joy around these parts of Eastern Africa. So much so that the President of Kenya, whoever he is- since they can't seem to run their own country, (actually it is Kibaki) has declared tomorrow a national holiday. While most people, especially teachers would be seemingly thrilled with the idea of just adding national holidays whenever they want to, I AM NOT!! How in the crap am I supposed to teach and get through my curriculum. This isn't America and just yesterday the President of Kenya was saying, "this is an American election, it is about America and has nothing to do with us" He did this to try and stop any violence that could occur if McCain had won.
Well, now that it went the other way it is now suddenly a holiday? Seriously, people!!!
